Superhero essay

This is a short essay my friend and I had to write in class. We were learning about classification, so we had to make up something to classify and write a 5 paragraph essay about it in class. Me and my friend chose Superheros :D Hope you like it!

SUPERHEROS
Superheros can be classified into three categories - those with capes, those with super strength, and the ones with unique abilities.
All superheros have super strength to some extent, but some have more than others. The Hulk and Mr. Incredible are two examples of this amazing strength. Both superheros use their physical strength to save many lives from villians, natural disasters, and everday crises.
The second category is superheros that wear capes. Most superheros who wear capes can fly, like superman and wonderwomen. Alas, our dear friend and hero, Batman, wears a cape, but cannot fly.
The last and final caegory is superheros with unique abilities. Spiderman and Mr. Fantastic have super powers like no other. Spiderman can shoot spider webs from his wrists, climb up walls, and swing from building to building by his webs. Mr. Fantastic can stretch farther than imaginable, and flatten his body as thin as paper.
All superheros have notable qualities that can be classifed into three categories - the ones with capes, the ones with super strength, and the ones with unique abilities.

by the way, we got a 10/10 on it :)

Falling Waters by Frank Lloyd Wright

Back in November, my English teacher had the class look at the picture below (called Falling Waters by Frank Lloyd Wright who built this building and took the picture) and write an essay on it in class. We had to use all five senses in the essay. Below is mine. My teacher gave me a 20/20 :)

In Pennsylvania, lies the house "Falling Waters" built by architecht Frank Lloyd Wright. The rooms of the house are small, with low ceilings, giving it a cave like feel. The walls are made of stone, the fireplace from boulders taken from the area outside. A small stream with waterfalls flow through the house, and back out again. The sound of trickling water echoes through the house. All these things makes the house seem natural and help it blend in with it's surroundings.
Walk outside and smell the trees and dirt, the forestry smell of the crisp air, lightly blowing the leaves of the tree, back and forth. The smell of the pines, oaks, maple, hickorys, are all wonderful treats to the nose.
The sight of the small waterfalls trickling over rocks is beautiful. A squrriel runs down a tree and grabs an acorn, tearing it open and eats it, before running back up the tree.
The water is icy to the touch, as it runs over the rocks. The rocks are smooth and worn down from many years of water running over them.
The sound of the trickling water is music to the ears. Birds chirp all around in the trees, almost seems like a rain forest. At night, crickets chirp loudly, and owls hoot.
The freshness and the cold of the water is like heaven to the tongue. The air carries the wonderful taste of the dirt and trees.
The house "Falling Waters" by Frank Lloyd Wright is a beautiful place, built with natural resources, and has wonderful surroundings outside.

My 3 point thesis essay on ME!!!

In my english class, (back in October) everyone in my class had to write a three point thesis essay about themselves. So here's mine!!!!!

There are many things that make up my personality, but three of the most notable things include animals, photography, and adventure.

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals more than anything, cuddling any creature in site from horses to mice to grasshoppers. I have had pets ranging from spiders to mice, from guinea pigs to snakes from goats to ducks. I currently have eight pets who I love very much and wouldn’t know what to do without them. Because of my love for animals, later in life I want to open my own wildlife sanctuary for wolves, bears, big cats and other such animals.

Photography is something enjoyable for me that I can do anywhere. I like taking photos of just about anything, but mostly I love photographing animals, especially wildlife. I desire to travel to Alaska to photograph the wolves in their natural habitat, roaming freely along the snowy terrain. I plan to travel the globe as a professional wildlife photographer, involving my three favorite things: photography, animals, and adventure.

I absolutely adore adventure of any kind. I live near a lot of woods that my brothers, friends, and I love to explore. I have spent hours hiking through woods, trudging through ditches, and walking across cotton fields with the company of my friends, and the reward of an adventure. I look forward to the rest of my life, which will be filled with adventure. From skydiving to zip-lining through rainforests, from diving with sharks in the Pacific Ocean to glacier walking in New Zealand, these are just a few of the many adventurous things I will do in my lifetime.

While there are additional important things to me, my life and personality would not be complete without animals, photography, and adventure.

It's not great, but whatever. Now you know a little more about me!!
